UK retailer CeX buying PlayStation 4 hardware for £430

Many shops are saying it will become difficult to pay money for PlayStation 4 hardware within the UK this side of Christmas, and now retailer CeX is currently paying out £430 cash or credit to people trading of their new PlayStation 4.

That’s an £81 increase over the RRP of £349.

CeX will sell the consoles in its stores–alongside its famously extensive choice of pawned phones–for an eye fixed-watering £520. For that over the chances price, the retailer is not less than stipulating that traded consoles currently require a box.

The PlayStation 4 launches across Europe today, following the machine’s release in North America on November 15. Supermarkets were offering first come, first served stock from midnight, although current reports suggest that it’s already proving very difficult to locate unsold stock for the console.

Sony previously reported that it sold 1 million PlayStation 4’s within 24 hours of the machine occurring sale within the US and Canada. But will Sony be capable to make an identical boast for Europe?
