Horizon: Zero Dawn, am upcoming action/role playing game for 2016; set a thousand years after the fall of civilisations in a post-apocalyptic open world where nature and machine collide. In a world where the human race has long since lost the lost the world to machines but evolved to bands of tribes in a hunter-gather existence that have to battle to survive across a vast landscape of ruined cities, mountains, forests and encountering deadly machines as they go.
Play as Aloy a skilled hunter who embarks on a quest through the vast and lush landscape of the post-apocalyptic world, discovering secrets of the forgotten civilisations and collecting relics, gaining skills and gathering intelligence as the game progresses; learn about the purpose of the machines, and what happened to the civilisations before that led to the machines dominating the world.
The machines are a far superior and technologically advanced enemy, and with each encounter you learn to develop skills and tactics to overcomes them, and build on that to take out bigger and more deadly machines as you advance through the game.
There are rumours that the game is due to be released sometime during summer 2016; retailing at around £44.99. Be on the look out for this truly awesome game.
