So have you played the previous Ghost Recon games? This video game series has grown in popularity by leaps and bounds in the past few years. Releasing a new game in the series every year from 2001 up to 2007 then all of a sudden they stopped. Now this year scheduled for a release date of October 1st, we have a brand new era in the line named Future Soldier. A discovery in December of 2009 though revealed that the name Future Soldier had been registered by Ubisoft. In January of 2010 the company finally confirmed that indeed Future Soldier would be the official name of the next in line game of this addictive series.
What does this new game bring to the Tom Clancy collection? Well basically you are a new breed of soldier. Described as an “F-16 on legs” by the creators, you are armed to the teeth with all of the latest weaponry. You are an elite GR member who has the power, adaptability, and the cognitive fortitude of the future soldier. So of course they give such a soldier the missions no one else can handle. In the game trailer, you can see one of the coolest features of the ability to cloak and blend in to the environment around you. Other features include Multi-player of course, and several options built in to the multi-player aspect of the game.
As you might have heard, Ubisoft is releasing a multi-player beta of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier in the summer of 2010 off the Splinter Cell: Conviction just released game. This beta will be playable only on the Xbox 360, and you can go download the beta off of this Splinter Cell game once the link is unleashed. The beta has a ton of fans surrounding it awaiting the release, so it’s going to be crowded out there full of Ghost fans leading up to the release.
