Happy Wars hits 6 million players on Xbox Live

Free-to-play Xbox Live game Happy Wars has hit six million players, Xbox announced today.

Posting on Xbox Wire, PlayXBLA community coordinator Ashton Williams revealed new content for Happy Wars to celebrate the six million player milestone.

The update encompasses a Happy Wartober event which features special sale offers, exclusive items, and a brand new character class. In line with the post, the special offers might be changed day-after-day during October.

In addition to the announcement of recent content, a contented Wars: Season 2 was confirmed for the impending new year. No additional info was provided on what changes Happy Wars: Season 2 will bring.

Happy Wars is a free-to-play game which supports simultaneous play for as much as 30 players (15 vs. 15), who must attack their opponents’ castle while simultaneously defending their very own. The sport launched on Xbox Live as Microsoft’s first free-to-play title.
