A year after its original release, Lego: Lord of the Rings is now available within the App Store for iOS devices, a product page (via Touch Arcade) for the Warner Bros. game reveals.
The $5 iOS version of Lego: Lord of the Rings requires 3GB of accessible space if installed over Wifi, but just one.5GB if downloaded on a working laptop or computer after which synced with a tool.
Lego: Lord of the Rings for iOS, which follows Peter Jackson’s three fantasy movies, features voice acting pulled from the flicks.
Over 90 characters are included within the game, including Frodo, Sam, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, and Aragorn, in addition to those not depicted Jackson’s films like Tom Bombadil.
Lego: Lord of the Rings features two controller systems: “Classic” and “Touch Screen,” which players can swap between at any time. The sport also supports achievements and Game Center, though apparently co-op play didn’t make the cut.
No mention was made from a release for Android or Windows Phone devices.
Lego: Lord of the Rings was originally released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC, 3DS, and PlayStation Vita in fall 2012. For more, look at GameSpot’s review.
